Donal has worked across all aspects of Human Resource Management since 1990 in various HR positions for leading national and international companies within Ireland in both Dublin, Cork and Galway. He has gained extensive experience in HR from an operational and strategic perspective across various sectors including: retail financial services (First Active), pharmaceutical manufacturing (Pfizer/Warner Lambert), and general insurance (Hibernian General Insurance).

Based in Cork, Donal works with a wide range of clients from all sectors by providing clients with professional, cost effective and customised people management solutions that work. He works with clients in attracting, retaining and motivating Staff to deliver the results that matter.

Donal passionately believes that Staff are a unique source of sustainable competitive advantage and he works with clients to engage their Staff through the application of best practice HR and Training interventions aligned to supporting client business strategy. His approach is that good HR policies and procedures alone will not produce results. It is the day to day interactions of Staff within the business and line managers fair and consistent application of these HR policies and procedures that builds high levels of trust, loyalty, commitment and motivation, which leads to a productive, engaged and successful workforce.

Donal holds a Masters Degree in Strategic Human Resource Management from Dublin City University. He also holds a Diploma in Management & Industrial Relations (NCI). He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
